Overview:

Learners will explore the foundations of AI and machine learning with hands-on applications in finance, retail, healthcare, and logistics. Using Python and leading ML libraries, students will design predictive models and automation tools to solve real business problems.

Course Contents (Competency Outcomes):

- Learners will be able to explain key AI and machine learning concepts

- Learners will be able to use Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) to prepare and analyse datasets

- Learners will be able to apply supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms to business datasets

- Learners will be able to develop predictive models for business applications such as fraud detection and demand forecasting

- Learners will be able to complete a capstone project building a predictive ML solution for a case study company

Entry Requirements:

Basic maths/logic skills are helpful. There is no requirement for a background in coding.
