Overview:

This course introduces learners to the critical concepts of cybersecurity, preparing them to identify threats, protect systems, and apply ethical hacking techniques. Learners will gain practical experience with SOC-style incident response and security tools used across industry.

- Learners will be able to explain the cybersecurity threat landscape and identify common attack types

- Learners will be able to configure firewalls and apply network security best practices

- Learners will be able to analyse malware and ransomware behaviour in controlled environments

- Learners will be able to perform ethical hacking fundamentals using Kali Linux

- Learners will be able to simulate SOC incident response procedures in real-world scenarios
